Developed as a "Next Generation Mask", the Primefect Mask
~A scientific basis that even professionals recognize
We tested the bactericidal properties of the non-woven fabric used in the Primefect Mask against avian influenza virus(*2) at the Research Center for Zoonotic Infectious Diseases attached to Tottori University(*1).
The results are stunning.
It's germicidal.
(Avian influenza virus inactivation effect: 99.28% reduction in viral titers (average))
This is the first time I've seen such a decision.
The test results are as follows.
test results
After reacting with the test article (silver ion nonwoven fabric) for 60 min at room temperature, the viral titers ranged from 102.5 to 103.625 EID₅₀/ml (Table 1.1). The viral titers in the negative control condition (nonwoven) were 105.375 and 105.5EID₅₀/ml.
Comparison with the viral titers in the negative control condition showed a reduction in viral titers between 98.22 and 99.90% (mean 99.28%) in response to the test product (Table 1.2).
